Sanur area mostly recognised by its Sanur Beach, a beautiful white sandy beach with calm and warm seawater located in east part of Denpasar Town just about about 30 minutes drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport, which has grown into a little town in its own right. Sanur Beach is located only 4 km from downtown of Denpasar and it can be easily reached by car or motorcycle.

Sanur Village is first time introduced by Belgium artist called A.J. Le Mayeur and his wife named Ni Polok which remains in Sanur since year 1937. He has performed his own masterpiece painting exhibition and start introduces Sanur as a tourist place in Bali. In south-east side, we can see the bunch of Nusa Penida Island and eastside we can see beautiful panorama of Bali strait with its Mount Agung as a backdrop. The tropical atmosphere sweep entire of Sanur Beach that makes it as an ideal place for relaxation. Taman Budaya (Bali Art Center) is the culture building complex with the best style of Balinese traditional architecture. It is featuring the good lay-out building of amphitheater to be a place/hall of show performance purpose. Bajra Sandhi Monument is monument of Balinese People Struggle . This Monument is recognized by the name of Bajra Sandhi because it's form is looking like Bajra or Genta or bell used by all Hindu Priest in reading off Weda holy sentence (mantra) at religious ceremony. Sakenan Temple is a Hindu Temple located in the northwest of Serangan Village, Sub district of Denpasar and Badung regency. It is about 10 KM south part of Denpasar Town. We see a coastal view with beautiful sea, hill consecution and Nusa Dua Beach which are located in south side. The structure of Sakenan Temple is divided into 2 groups those are Sakenan Temple is a temple complex which is located in eastside and Dalem Sakenan Temple is a temple complex located in west side.

CAFE BATU JIMBAR, Jalan Danau Tamblingan No. 152, is a casual sidewalk cafe and popular with regular visitors to Sanur and expatriates who meet here for breakfast, lunch or dinner under large trees.

KAFE WAYANG, Komplek Sanur Raya No. 12 - 14 at the By-Pass, has become quite popular during lunch time. Local business people enjoy the relaxing (indoor) tropical garden setting, the creative Asian and Mediterranean cuisine, and the excellent desserts.

TELAGA NAGA (operated by the Bali Hyatt hotel in Sanur and located right opposite the hotel on the main road) has a beautiful garden setting with ponds and ducks, bridges, pavilions, and usually well prepared Chinese food.

SLAVYANKA Russian Restaurant & Bar, Jalan By-Pass No. 121xx (the southern part of Sanur near Jalan Danau Poso) was opened in June 2007. The comfortable interior of the dining room features paintings of numerous Russian Tsars and is setting new standards for Sanur.

GATEWAY OF INDIA, Jalan Danau Tamblingan a bit South of the Bali Hyatt hotel and on the same side of the road. The Indian food here is delicious and irresistable, and it cannot be compared with any other restaurant in Sanur claiming to serve food from the sub-continent. The setting here is more pleasant than their other two branches, at Seminyak and Kuta, and prices are reasonable

MEZZANINE at Puri Santrian in Sanur is a great place for reasonably priced Thai Food.

ARENA Sports Cafe at Jalan By-Pass No. 115 in Sanur, close to and on the same side as McDonalds. The menu has been expanded to list now about 80 dishes from countries such as Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France, Holland, Norway, Greece, Italy, Yugoslavia, India, Japan and more.

LUMUT Restaurant at Danau Tamblingan Street. The main menu here is seafood, but in day you can enjoy coffee or juices.

THE VILLAGE Restaurant at Danau Tamblingan Street, serves Italian dishes with a romantic atmosphere which serves burn pizza and various pastas.
